The Swan & Dolphin is what I believe to be one of the best kept secrets at Walt Disney World in Orlando, FL. Even though it is located on Disney property (within walking distance to Epcot and Hollywood Studios) it is not technically a “Disney Property.” The property consists of two separate hotel entities: the Swan and the Dolphin.
The Dolphin is owned and operated by Sheraton (make sure to use your SPG account login to save up some points), and the Swan is owned is a Westin resort. While both hotels are run independently of one another, they are connected by a path with dock and boat services that take you to and from Epcot, Hollywood Studios, Disney’s Boardwalk Resort, and Disney’s Yacht & Beach Club Resort.
Here’s the skinny:
Both the Swan and Dolphin offer very difference room and suite options, but one of the main difference between the two is the size of the beds. Both hotels offer king bed rooms, but if you opt for two beds, the Dolphin has double beds, and the Swan has queen beds.
Other than the bed size, this is really where you will make your decision on which hotel is right for you. The Dolphin is the larger of the two hotels and has more food options.
